Amazon Career Choice
Amazon will pay for your tuition and fees at Drake State Community & Technical College through Amazon’s Career Choice program. Amazon’s Career Choice program is an education benefit that empowers employees to learn new skills for career success at Amazon or elsewhere. We meet individual learners where they are on their education journey through a variety of education and upskilling opportunities including full college tuition, industry certifications designed to lead to in-demand jobs, and foundational skills such as English language proficiency, high school diplomas, and GEDs.
Earn a degree and move up in your career
Fully funded opportunities: Tuition, books and fees are pre-paid by Amazon, up to an annual maximum benefit to employees pursue everything from certificates to associate degrees.
Limitless learning: As long as eligible employees work at Amazon, they can continue to take advantage of the Career Choice benefit with no lifetime limit.
Fast starts: U.S. blue badge hourly employees (including part-time) will become eligible for Career Choice after 90 days of continuous employment, rather than 12 months.

With hands-on training, quality online education, and apprenticeship programs at Drake State, you can step into a career that will serve you well, no matter where you are. Amazon employees are encouraged to visit Career Choice for complete enrollment details.
Complete the application to Drake State for admission in order to register for classes.
Next, go to Career Choice and select the “College” track and “Drake State Community and Technical College” as your school.
Lastly, visit A to Z and submit a payment request for your chosen school and program. Drake State will confirm course details and either approve or deny your payment request. If approved, Amazon will pay the college directly.
