Counseling Services
Get the support you need at Drake State
College can be exciting, stressful, and challenging at times for many students. Students at Drake State are encouraged to make use of the resources and services available to them through Counseling Services.
Counseling Services are available to assist with the following and more:
- Crisis Intervention
- Personal and academic issues
- Adjustment to College
- Stress and Anxiety
- Vocational decisions and adjustments
- Academic Advising (Note: While the faculty serves as primary advisors, the College Counselor provides supplemental services as requested.)
All counseling services are provided with your confidentiality in mind. Referrals to agencies within the community are occasionally recommended, depending upon the nature of the concern.
