Computer Information Systems
The Computer Information Systems (CIS) program at Drake State is an associate degree and certificate awarding program. Emphasis is placed on hands-on training in the areas of computer operating systems, applications, programming languages and networking equipment. After completing a degree in the Computer Information Systems program, a student will have the skills to fulfill entry-level positions in computer support and operations, networking, and software development fields in the industry.
Computer information systems earnings
A graduate of the CIS program may become employed in many of the entry-level positions such as computer technician, web designer, cyber specialist, computer programmer, help desk specialist, computer lab manager, database analyst, systems analyst, network specialist, or test engineer.
