Veterans Day Program

You are cordially invited to join us for a remarkable Veterans Day Program on Tuesday, November 8. Drake State Community and Technical College will host retired U.S. Army Major General Patrick W. Burden as the keynote speaker for the college’s Veterans Day Program. Burden, , a two-star general, is currently responsible for Special Operations Forces Field Marketing and Business Development at the Boeing Company.
“When I was present for his message on teamwork at a 2021 event,” said Drake State Veteran Affairs Coordinator Neoka Hambrick, “I knew I wanted to bring this message to our faculty, staff, students, and community.”
Hambrick added that Maj. General (Ret) Burden “brought a relatable message” from his experiences in the military and industry.
