Drake State has been awarded the designation of a 2022-2023 Military Friendly^® School – Bronze Status. This is a huge accomplishment for the college. There were 1700 applications, and Drake ranked in the 40th percentile of the Top 10 schools.

”This designation is a tribute to the great work we do!” said Veteran Affairs Coordinator Neoka Hambrick. “The bronze designation is a result of exceeding the benchmark standards in 5 of the 6 categories, all driven by the outstanding efforts of our team. This elevated level of accomplishment has been earned by each person who has impacted the successes of our Veterans, service members and military dependent students. For this recognition, I thank each person of the Drake State family that has made this possible. We have another exciting designation that will be announced in June!”
