Join us as we prepare you to start your journey at Drake State! Sign up for a new student orientation session by clicking the link below. This link will take you to the page where you can select the day and time you would like to attend. The times offered are 9 AM, 3 PM or a virtual session at 5:30 PM.  Participation in a session is mandatory for new students.

Check-in for each session begins 30 minutes before the session begins. 

1. Complete your admissions application – Click “APPLY NOW” on the college site.
2. Submit your final high school transcripts – Must include graduation date.
3. Send in any college course transcripts – If applicable.
4. Apply for financial aid – Complete the 2026–2027 FAFSA at gov.
5. NOTE: If you select the 5:30 PM virtual session, you must have testing completed prior to the session to be eligible for registration.
