5th Annual Jazz in the City Fundraiser

June 19, 2026 | Mars Music Hall at the Von Braun Center

Join us for an unforgettable evening of live music, community, and celebration at Jazz in the City. The Drake State Foundation’s 5th Annual Jazz in the City moves to the Mars Music Hall at the Von Braun Center on Friday, June 19 at 7:00 pm, headlined by the legendary AJ Ghent and his Singing Guitar. Ryon Schultz and Nina Marie Live will kick off the evening with special musical performances. An unforgettable evening of live jazz, great company, and real impact for Drake State students.

The event serves as the centerpiece of the College’s 65th anniversary.

Proceeds from the event will support 65th Anniversary Scholarships, technology upgrades, and facility improvements, expanding access and opportunities for Drake State students pursuing high-demand careers in North Alabama
