OFFICIAL RECOGNITION OF CAMPUS ORGANIZATIONS
Procedures for Obtaining Official
J.F. Drake State Community and Technical College encourages extracurricular activities that develop individual initiative, group leadership, and cooperation. Student organizations and activities must be faculty and/or staff sponsored and must be approved by the College President.
Any group wishing to organize on campus must receive permission from the Dean of Instructional and Student Services and the President by submitting a written request for approval.

DRAKE STATE SUPPORTS COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS
During the month of July, J.F. Drake State Community & Technical College supported First Responders in our community with a delivery of baskets. Our Drake State student leaders collected donations, prepared the bundles, then delivered the baskets to area firefighters, law enforcement precincts, EMA offices and other paramedics and rescue groups to offer appreciation to those First Responds for their tireless commitment to the safety and well-being of our community.
