Student Organizations


The College encourages extracurricular activities that develop individual initiative, group leadership, and cooperation. Student organizations and activities must be faculty and/or staff supervised and must be approved by the College President.  

Some of the organizations such as the Amateur Radio Club, Culinary Club, Phi Beta Lambda, and IAAP are directly linked to program areas to develop skills specifically related to program areas. Other organizations such as Skills USA and National Technical Honor Society recognize outstanding achievements in a wider range of skill or educational areas. Whereas groups like Vol-a-Tech , The Praise Dance Ministry and the Gospel Choir attract a diverse group of students from all program areas and abilities. The most representative organization on campus is the Student Government Association. This organization is governed by three officers elected by the student body but includes a representative from each program area.
